I have always enjoyed being a “student of life.” Life has been my biggest teacher and my younger brother has played a big part in that. I have been amazed by his ability to live in the moment, his innocence, his eye for perfection, his memory, talent in music, among many other things.
Over the years, through the eyes of her brother, I have gradually understood the complex world of Autism. While I know this journey may have many aspects that are unique to my brother, my hope is that by sharing our journey through this website, some of the strategies / solutions we have developed will be of use to others. In addition, we can jointly work to better understand Autism and improve these solutions.
By profession, I am a business management and strategy professional. I have a BA in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Wharton School of Business.
Probably, one of the biggest discoveries for me has been that many things that I have learned from my brother not only apply to Autism but also life in general, including the business world. From my brother, I have learned that there are different ways each individual can view the world and express oneself. This has helped me understand better and appreciate how every person I interact with has different ways they see, learn, and communicate things.
Thank you bro, for opening my mind and understanding of life in so many ways!
